Diver Dunne

DIVER DUNNE

A pencil drawing of my Father taken from the cover of an old "Hammond Times" magazine, a publication devoted to the Hammond Organ enthusiast. Herbert "Kirby" Dunne was a professional organist, salvage diver, cartoonist, and a lover of life who never let go of his childlike wonder of the world. He has been gone for many years, but I will always remember sitting on his lap and reveling in his many tales. He was witty, charming, had lots of friends and acquaintances, and in my opinion, was truly enchanted!
